This collection consists of pension records from Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company (PPG) dating from 1909 to 1939. Included is correspondence notifying the superintendant at the Creighton, Pennsylvania, plant of the death of its pensioners. Applications from workers who wished to receive pension from the company are also included. Life insurance cards listing the worker's beneficiary information are also present.

The Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company (PPG) was founded in 1883 in Creighton, Pennsylvania, by Captain John Baptiste Ford and John Pitcairn.
